Tooth decay is unfortunately an extremely common pet condition. Gum disease, broken or rotten teeth, pain, and inflammation often occur in pets that don’t have an established dental hygiene regimen. If your pets’ teeth aren’t brushed every day, just as yours are, they could experience any of the above symptoms. A professional cleaning performed annually by your veterinarian is only the most basic care your pets’ mouths require. If your pets have broken or rotten teeth, they need to see a veterinarian as soon as possible to fix the issue.
